These days, awesome budgeting skills and empowering money habits are a natural part of my life, but it wasn’t always that way. I joined the workforce burdened with $50,000 of debt between student loans, credit cards, and a car loan. (Yeah, not pretty.)
I knew I needed some help, but for the life of me, I couldn’t find a financial planner I connected with, who understood what I was looking for, and wouldn’t just give me a bunch of theoretical, cookie-cutter advice that never felt practical. And I did NOT want to give my hard-earned money to just anyone!
So I set out to crack the code myself!
And I suffered through hundreds of hours of boring courses and tedious books to figure this stuff out. Fast forward five years: I’ve paid off all my debt, stashed just as much into savings, and I’m not clipping coupons to afford my gourmet groceries!
It turns out personal finance is really simple, the industry just overcomplicates it with big words and fancy calculators, when all you need are some basic habits and less informational clutter!
